Something completely off topic, but needs hearing.

I’ve written this post a number of times and still cant’ satisfy myself with my choice of words, so humour me.

I’m in my 60’s now, and I wish, really wish, that I’d seen or heard the following podcast about 40 years ago, because I’d have promoted the hell out of it.

Now, its also important to note, I wouldn’t normally have listened to this type of podcast. I didn’t go searching for it, it’s just one of those “recommended” video’s that youtube loves to throw at us. Also, its already 3 months old (at the time of writing)..

First off, I’m not a father, I have (several) failed marriages/relationships and I’ve almost always, done my own thing, whether or not it be deemed to be right or wrong. I can think of several of my male friends who I think, in hindsight, could really have benefitted from listening to what these people have to say, about relationships, patriarchal society and more importantly, The Invisible Work of Women. I generally shy away from giving strong opinions on things in such a public forum as this, but this time, having watched it, I actually felt moved by it enough to post this on a completely unrelated channel.

I’m not going to go into the details of this as I think it should be listened to and then listened to again, mostly by us men, but I think there are definitely a few women out there who could also benefit from this.

So, watch it, learn from it, then do something about it!

And, to Emily & Justin Baldoni, Liz Plank, and Jamey Heath that was one hell of a thought-provoking podcast. Thank You.

Here’s the video.
